1. Using a calculator, calculate the exact value of (12.8)2 - (30 / 0.375)

Answer:  (12.8)2 - (30 / 0.375)

(163.84) - (80)

= 83.84

2. Mark spends 3/8 of his monthly income on housing. Of the remainder, he spends 1/3 on food and saves what is left.  

(i) Calculate the fraction of his monthly income spent on food.
